Is cosmetic tattooing safe?

Yes. All treatments are performed under strict hygiene protocols using sterile, single-use equipment and premium pigments, in line with Australian health standards.

What does the treatment feel like?

A topical numbing cream is applied to ensure comfort. Sensation is minimal and well tolerated by most clients.

How long does an appointment take?

Appointments are typically 1-2 hours, allowing time for consultation, custom mapping, numbing, and precise application.

Will the colour look strong at first?

Yes. Pigment appears deeper immediately after treatment and gradually softens as the skin heals, settling into a natural finish. 

Can I choose the colour?

Colour selection is personalised during your consultation and tailored to your skin tone, features, and desired result.

What is the healing process?

Initial healing occurs within 7–10 days, with results continuing to refine over 4–6 weeks. Light flaking is normal during this time.

Is a touch-up required?

A refinement appointment is recommended 4-6 weeks post-treatment to perfect tone, shape, and longevity.

How long do results last?

Results typically last 12–36 months, depending on skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure, and aftercare.

Is a deposit required?

No, to secure your appointment, credit card details are required at the time of booking. This policy helps prevent late cancellations.

Am I a suitable candidate?

Most clients are suitable. However, treatment may not be recommended if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, undergoing chemotherapy, or using certain prescription skin medications. Please enquire prior to booking if unsure.

What aftercare is required?

Aftercare instructions are provided following your appointment. During healing, the treated area should be kept clean and protected from makeup, sun exposure, swimming, and excessive sweating.

Can I book if I’ve had previous cosmetic tattooing?

Yes. Existing work can be assessed day of treatment during our consultation process.
